Now
a days its extremely hard for the common hunter to find a place to hunt or to
afford hunting with an outfitter. This has become a major concern with us at
I.R.B. because we are common hunters! We feel blessed with the opportunities
we've been given and would love to share the awesome experience of the great
outdoors with others around the country. We feel that every hunter should be
able to go arrow a monster buck, coax in a thundering tom, or cut into a flock
or greenheads without going bankrupt. Alot of outfitters have made profit

Turkey Hunting at I.R.B.
Nothing
is more exciting than sitting deep in the woods on a dead quite warm morning
when a thundering gobble shatters the silence. You try to keep still and steady
your gun as the gobbles get closer, and closer. Finally, as you sweat persuasively
and your heart beats out of control, the eerie sound of a turkey drumming
can be heard just over the crest of the hill. You know he's coming, and the
only thing you do is try to control your compulsive shaking long enough to
pull the trigger…
Waterfowl Hunting at I.R.B.
Even
though you sit in your heated pit, the cold of the outside atmosphere tears
away at your upper body. It's still to early to even see the decoys, but the
sound of a thousand wings cutting the air above your head can be heard. Your
body tightens up and every hair on your body stands to full attention. The occasional
quack or volley of a lonesome hen from out in the mist jolts your head upward
to the black sky. Noises of fluttering and splashing tell you that they are
landing all around you. Your anxiety begins to rise with each passing minute.
The dog fidgets and whines while ducks buzz and land throughout the decoys unharmed.
You try to restrain him, but at the same time restraining yourself. Finally,
the time has come. One final group of greenheads drops out of the sky, wings
cupped and feet down. As they bend their wings and stretch their necks to get
into your spread, you raise your gun. And for a moment, you have a good idea
of what heaven is like...

The
deer camp experience around here is like no other. Warm hospitality, good
cooking and a group of the friendliest guides turn what would have been a
just guided hunt into the begining of a tradition of friendship. Most of our
hunters are repeat customers that have been coming for years. Its not just
the great atmosphere though, that keeps them coming back each fall. No, we
would like to think it has something to do with being able to hunt the best
hunting ground in the mid-west or the monster bucks that are taken each year.
The camaraderie is fine and all, but shooting a 300 pound 12 point bull neck
tends to make a happy customer...
